Murphy and Wade literally got our first two false start penalties of the game, and Wright had at least one false start and holding call. Pretty sure the entire online had either false start or holding penalties.

They both did. Wade also got beat so bad on a stunt he knocked his man into Lew, which freed that man up for sack.

Did we play so bad today that not recovering an onside kick at the end of game in a 7 point game become casually dismissed? They got the safety and we should've had 1 minute left on a drive but the announcers barely addressed the free kick. That was a huge deal.

I've never seen you take something so hard Pete. My bad bro.

You know who else is wrong? The people who act like Hugh has never done anything right here. He put together good gameplan after good gameplan first half last year, which I was right about then and am still right about now, but the turnovers and a qb that melted down at the first sign of adversity forced him into coaching a game he didnt know how to coach. Now not getting a qb that gels with him or being able to have multiple gameplans (like Ben arbuckle) is on him and will ultimately be his downfall.

There is still a chance for success though. He is a good but extremely flawed coach.

There was no rushing game.
Our QB didnt have enough time.
They threw a shite ton of penalty flags against the OL.

OL failed

bullshite. I don't care if they gave Arnold 3 seconds if Arnold needed 3.4 then they failed.

Remember OL had 157 starts between them. Today was ol pathetic

I’m not sure how you blame the OL for no rushing game. We barely tried to run it. Arnold also had time to throw. They were very sloppy however with penalties.

Like I said earlier 6.6 YPC on 13 carries from the RBs.

Most of that 6.6 ypc was on one run

That is just an asinine expectation when youre going against a premier defense and you know that. You're not stupid.

You really think we gave our RBs a legit chance in that game?

I don't but I get why Hugh didnt run it. He's been very vocal about it. I don't agree with it but i get it.

Cobb had to break a tackle just to get to the LOS on the one big rush. Our OL was just bad.

Yeah but even if you take the one run out (which makes for bad data) you still get 3.5 ypc. Not great but better than I thought.

Don’t think we should have tried to pound it, but after looking at the numbers I’ll take back my stance that Freeze was correct in abandoning the run. They probably could have gotten about 7-8 attempts. All that said, that likely doesn’t change the outcome of the game.

Broken tackle was past the los on a lb that filled a lil late.

The OL isn’t the reason we didn’t run as much but 10 sacks pretty much says the QB didn’t have much time to throw it either.

Defense was definitely giving us looks late in the second half that we could’ve run against. At some point, they just knew we wouldn’t even try.

I would call for more hot read routes.

Go look at the safety sack. Literally the RT got bull rushed and thrown around like a rag doll with quickness.
