Legitimately happy with either taking the majority of snaps. We’ll win with either one

I think if we had started with a Kent State type team and not Oregon, we would have seen them battle it out in the first game and then he would have announced a starter.

I was also bigly wrong on the announcer.

Anish Shroff, little Jersey boy. Sucks. And Steve Levy still sucks too, no apologies.

We need to see a Leak/Tebow style usage IMO. Messes with defenses.

I was glad to see JG getting reps. In 3 weeks we’re gonna know a lot more.

Florida escapes. I'll never understand why teams going for the GW FG don't try to run middle-of-the-field and get down to line it up down-the-middle for these kickers.

Gatas play Tennessee, Towson then us. Franks might be out for awhile.

We beat ATM and it'll be a top-10 matchup in the Swamp, even though Gatas in the top-10 continues to be a farce.

He has no redshirt and no diploma so it is gone one way or the other

Yes. What did Gatewood do tonight that Willis didn’t do when he came into trash games?

Willis couldn’t even make the correct reads in the zone read, and they rarely scored with him in there. Gatewood has yet to be stopped when he comes in. Big difference

Alpaca will be lucky to ever put on a jersey again

Let me preface this with the fact that I like Joey and think he’s much, much better than Willis... but Willis was a garbage time guru. He missed reads because he always pulled it (Joey missed a couple tonight too but no one expects him to be perfect), but Willis ripped off a few LONG TD’s that had people salivating.

Well that shite isn't true, he was stopped last week in trash time. You can't just make shite up due to bias.

He took two big tackle for losses. His YPC was 3.5 for a reason

It really doesn’t matter, though

Announcers during their game said his season was done right after he was carted off. I didn't see the actual play and they wouldn't replay it due to the graphic nature. Just happened to flip to the game as they were taking

Would’ve rather played Franks. Hope he heals up well. He’s going to be a good baseball player

Gatewood made a couple of poor reads tonight as well as in other games. My point was not one of criticism for Gatewood. Just that we really didn’t learn anything. We knew he could run the zone read. Unless people have some unbelievable short memories, we were all having the same discussions about Willis his first season. Everyone called him NM 2.0.

Again, my point was that we didn’t see Gatewood do anything we didn’t already know he could do. He ran the zone read against scrubs. We are just all so hungry for the zone read it looks like the answer to our prayers.

Truesdell has 1.5 sacks and 2 TFL. He really stepped up. Newkirk happened not to record a stat but he did well plugging holes and collapsing the OL.

Marlon had 2.5 sacks and 2.5 TFL. Big Kat had a sack and 2 hurries
