How many over thrown passes tonight?
How many dropped snaps tonight?
I think the myth of Finley was cast in stone finally.
Worst.
The question becomes. If Birmingham doesn't make the review up ....does Finley throw four straight to the wrong receivers or does he throw an interception?

He’s fine as a backup and locker room presence.

He’s a great backup. I was pretty pleased with his performance.

That doesn’t even make sense given how much I’ve defended Bo.
I said last night we would have won with Bo.
So he obviously didn’t do better than what Bo would’ve done, but that is why he is a backup.

TJ graded at an 83.

Agree on Finley. He gave us a chance to win if we had better playcalling. Couldn't have won the game for us by himself but he also didn't do anything to take us out of the game. Solid backup duty.

I think TJ played fine for the most part. If Bo is gone or whatever next year TJ in the system in the off season will help. He’s extremely intelligent and should be good at audibles once he has full control of what the offense is.
But I wonder if you guys knew he was 6’7”? Lol

Did u guys think he maybe looked deep too much?
He seemed to take longer, the announcers even noticed him going thru his progressions , but he didn’t seem to try to find his TEs.
His misses seems to be on longer throws w WRs well covered.
It’s almost like he’s try to make but plays first. I remember watching a young Ben Rothleisberger always wanting a big play even on 3rd and 1.

There was only one expectation
Auburn to win the game
Auburn to win the game

Finley has a lot of intangibles. He needs to work with a true QB guru during the summer. Touch is the biggest concern with him, IMO.

I think the biggest concern is him seeing the field - throwing to the guy that's actually open. 2nd would be downfield accuracy, +25 yards.
