You're more positive than I was about this games outcome then. When was the last time we pushed Georgia to the limit? 2017? Late game 2019? We're gonna get there

Whose arse? I stand by my statement, but didn’t want it living forever on our own board.

That last throw wasn’t Thorne’s fault, I’ll give him that, the uga player pushed our guy down to get the pick.

Because moral victories suck and just because we played decent today, that does not mean we will sustain it. We are Auburn

We need talent. Anyone throwing shade at Thorne just doesn’t understand football. I think both Robby and Thorne played very well with what they were asked to do. Protection on passing plays sucked all game, WRs can’t catch and have no idea what they are doing on the field running wrong routes and not in their proper places. Only 2 WRs other job consistently Fair and Var. And Var has been banged up for weeks now

And our OL and Secondary injuries have NOT helped, hence much of the bitching about our Oline not being able to block for shite and our DBs not being able to cover for shite. FFS.

You do realize it was only 82 yards because we didn’t throw much and when we did there was like a 30% chance the WR was going to drop it. Thorne did what we needed him to do today.

Yet people shite on Ashford for going 1/4 last weekend when he did just that

The receivers sucked today as did parts of our defense but to beat UGA today, we would have been better with Ashford in there all day and make them beat us rushing the ball .

Imo it's not the job of a college receivers coach to teach SEC caliber athletes to catch the football. They should have been doing that consistently since middle school.

I don’t recall a single post complaining about Ashfrod’s completion percentage last week. People complain about his career completion percentage.

And fyi, I was a proponent of Ashfrod staying in at QB in the game today.

I have sais that 100 times. How do you get to this point without knowing the proper technique of catching a football. A D1 scholarship player can either cath a ball or he cant

Thorne isn't stellar but receivers have got to catch the ball. Disappointed in this group--had high expectations

Defense got some 3rd and longs by applying pressure then decided not to on 3rd and got burned. multiple times

I just checked:

Thorne 10-19, 82 yards passing, 4.3 yards per attempt, 0 touchdowns, 1 interceptions.

The power of the narrative.
