The quality, depth, and experience of your LoS will largely determine how your offense and defense performs in the SEC …. been that way since before Bear Bryant. No use fighting it, just recruit better and reload for next season.

Thorne has thrown the ball under pressure more often than not … and, IMHO he has grown gun shy, especially late in games, when Auburn’s lack of depth is most susceptible.

Hugh's not the captain he doesn't have to go with the ship.

And after a year and a half Thorne's shown all that he's capable of in this system, with this team, and with these coaches. . . And even a win against ULM won't change the narrative. . . And this is the most favorable week left to make a change.

Just think if he tanks Saturday.... because the next two are both top 15 teams. That would be like tossing fresh meat to wolves.

Freeze is afraid to bench Thorne in his last 3 games of his career. Our coach is being a bitch. He said as much in a recent interview. Some shite about debating whether to play for the future vs playing a kid that is technically ‘better’ but already lost the season with 3 games left. It’s like the twilight zone.

He had his chance and burned the season with choke after choke and this coach is debating…wtaf

That doesn’t just automatically mean the backups are actually better.

Evwn if they do all suck.... If theyre even close then you go with the 1st or 2nd year guy, not the 5th year who hasn't improved at all since being here.

Not a hard concept to grasp.

You say he hasn't improved. Coach says he is playing solid. Why are you such a shitty fan?

Freeze needs to think about player safety. Throne will be fully healed by February. No need to rush things.

Hugh and Thorne giving contradictory statements through the media for the nth time this season…bizarre stuff.

Don’t really know what to make of it, but it’s not good.

Eh, I don’t think they are that contradictory. Thorne says earlier in the week he thinks he will be able to go Saturday. Later in the week, Hugh says he isn’t as far along as he had hoped he would be at this point in the week, in order to play Saturday. Seems like a fairly honest assessment.

I still think Hank inevitably gets the start, but we will see.

Thorne and Hugh have been at odds with each other all season long. Thorne's Tuesday Next Round Live appearance has been gold.

Rest of the quote from Freeze, conveniently left out

"He thinks he'll be fine, but he was not ready to play yesterday for sure."

I dont see the point of saying this. Thorne also said he could have played last week if he needed too. Freeze just wants more drama.
