Wait, so you think Derrick Nix actually does something and is the root of the problem? Well, of all the takes out there that’s one of them.

Not specifically replying to you, but I am starting to think bringing in 5 star QBs from HS is throwing away money. Unless the school plays then as a freshman and they start their 2nd year, most will just transfer and then the school is getting zero return on 2 years of NIL as well as coaching(at schools where they actually coach) that could have been used in much better ways. If it were me Id take 2-3 portal QBs (that are actually good, ex: Cam Ward) and not worry with HS QBS unless it's someone who is close to SEC ready

Kinda hard to throw when lying on your back.

When you throw bullets in practice, you never learn “touch”

If you don’t practice touch….you will fail.

Soft, hard, over ….too many show offs “watch how hard I can throw.”

I’ll lob one in a heart beat and live with the completed pass. Vs a bullet through your hands.

QB coaching, O-line coaching and OC is the problem, not so much the QB.

Meh, it’s 50/50. I’ll say again, even Lane Kiffin wouldn’t win crap with Thorne or Arnold. They both are terrible QBs, and only Freeze thought it was a good idea to pay them a lot of money to come help kill his career.

Yeah I mean if you're talking about QB changes with this staff and roster I think you're missing the forest for the trees.

JA seems average at best, but how can you determine anything about QB play in this offense with this coach.

PT and JA aren't great but they both could have won 7-9 games with any sort of real coach or program around them. With our defense this year a lot of coaches could be in the playoff hunt.

Deuce deleted Instagram, but a day or two later posted one pic. It was a pic of him carrying a bag. The implication being that he is packing his bags, or at least this is how people are reading it. (Or maybe he is saying the bag man needs to pay him more to stay,.lol).

He posted multiple pics…that was a pregame pic of him with a bag, and he posted pics of him practicing, Tiger Walk, etc.

Vandy runs a similar system, so does Mizzou. They are both in the top 15, and we are not. We have as much or more talent than either of those teams. They have QB’s with balls and we don’t.

Reminds me of the Al Borges effect on Jason Campbell back in the day.

I’ll go on record to say there is no plan to play another QB

Why did PT go 5-7 before he hit the portal and JA go 6-6 before he hit the portal then? Actually, JA didn’t go 6-6 because he got benched. And PT was going to get benched.
