I said it on here, and 1 other thread and it was all in a half hour span, so the douche up every thread is a little exaggerated. But I apologize, the frustration is building like it is for everyone right now. I would want the discussion on whether he gets fired to be about recruiting, results, etc. All this other stuff sucks, the racism card getting played is trash. Wouldn't it have come out before now if he were, not after all this time at all these places. That can ruin his career and life even if proven untrue.

You can’t really prove racism. If Mason’s contract was violated, or if he was defamed, you can prove that. But calling Harsin a racist just turns it into a “he said she said” deal that will just drag on forever. Mason probably got his feelings hurt and now he’s trying to “get” Harsin back, if that claim is being made, which I really hope is not true.

I have no idea if claims of racism are being made, but I can't imagine Mason is the source.

I do not know what Mason said, but look at the timeline. Mason left without a job, told his team he was leaving, then OSU came back to him (A week later), maybe that was planned to avoid a buyout.
Mason and Hars did not get along, but when you have players saying "Hars is from the North, I am from the South, he does not understand, etc.
Also in this world you do not have to 100% prove racism, it is enough to have a couple of people say it.
This is a fluid situation, moving the projections to Harsin leaving to WAY WAY Up.
RUMOR: Etheride is Interim.

You better be able to prove it when you’re on the hook for 20 million. If you fire him for racism with no evidence to back it up, you’re leaving yourself wide open for serious damages.

That's some bullshite right there. No way they can compel you to comply. I'd tell them to talk to my lawyer. This is gonna take forever and get us no where.

Looks like behind the scenes we are getting tired of his shite. New Auburn policy that employees MUST cooperate with an investigation or they can be fired. Went into affect yesterday lol. Harsin hasn't been cooperating, so this is our out now.
