NIL has helped us but takes money out from other sports. Without it us and bama couldn’t compete we saw those days

I might agree with you if this was a 1 time occurrence.

Drop football NIL and let's dominate basketball and baseball. Football eats all the cash and delivers nothing.

I think you can only put so many rabbits out of the hat. We were down in the regionals and had to fight tooth and nail just to get to the Super. You can only play from behind for so long before it gets you. It was a fun year though. Really got into AU baseball and I’m looking forward to next season.

This BS is painful… year after year… no ROI… Really, both Troy and Bama we’re gifted super regional opponents… people are getting angry with the costs involved from tickets, concessions to the tickets to the constant donor solicitations …

I get it I was a long time football season ticket holder. I have always made a good living but even with that they priced me out of going long before NIL. I now catch a game or possibly 2 a year.
But hard to argue expecting championships but not willing to pony up. The big donors everyone complains about have been footing the bill since the early 80s. We as Auburn fans are pathetic in NIL donations as common fans compared to a lot of our peers. A couple years ago when the every day fan was challenged to put up $1m and would be matched my anonymous donor we didn’t come close. Thats when I realized I was throwing my few dollars away each month. If others would have donated I would have continued to donate

LOL Men's SEC football, basketball, and baseball aren't going anywhere and will do nothing but get larger and more intense for the foreseeable future.
Just at Auburn:
Record attendance at the baseball games, new seating along the first base line, seats on the WE monster. Every game viewable by fans.
Football new north end zone.
Even if you just watch on TV, you are feeding the beast. Big donors will always be there.
Other sports will not survive.
Not that any of this is virtuous, but it is big entertainment.

It was a disappointing ending to a fun season.
Most of the team should be returning. We just need to fill some holes.

What? He told them previously he thought they could win it all so the loss sucks

keep that shite in private after you just got swept.
If they were good enough they would have won.
Ole Miss wasnt that impressive

Just looked at UGA, Miss St and Ole Miss starting lineup. They have a min of 3 sr/gr, and 2 jr. Any Sophomore/freshman are studs.
We will get older but missing on our transfers really hurt. We had too many guys in the lineup that gave us no power.

I did see a tweet mentioning there do seem to be long term plans to add permanent seating over the hitting facility. That area was a fun experience. Will be a good move if they get that done. Really has been impressive what we’ve been able to do with just a few updates to the park.

I ain’t reading that shite but I’m sure it’s something blah blah blah. I’m sure the young players have to mentally overcome losing in the Supers as the overall 4 seed.
So same situation can apply to every team in the nation except whoever wins the championship. But writers know we are pussies as fans that will nitpick shite to death so they get clicks playing up to the loud minority.
Yes I wanted to make it to Omaha, yes I wanted to win a natty. We can up a hair short. Ok. Still a great season with an extremely young team. Almost all contributors can come back plus we have 2-3 decent true freshman arms that are live. They will have to continue to work on consistency. And maybe Whalen can get healthy after some arm problems early this season he came in with high expectations.
Need to find a little power at the DH spot. Need a true base stealer at the lead off spot. I figure Rembert goes into the draft I think he is still slotted in the top 3 rounds. Also I think Petro is draft eligible sophomore as well. But maybe NIL will keep him around. I would guess Bingaman will slide to 3rd because Eric will most likely enter the draft. Not sure what more he can show. Elite Glove decent power just slow running
