Enjoyed the seasons fellas. Wish we could have made it further. We are young so we will make another run next year.

As usual, for an extra kick in the balls, UGA and Bama going to Omaha

Agreed, thanks Bigbens for running most of the threads this season.

I think Fralick (how a real Auburn fan spells it) was 0fer the super.

I'll give him a pass as he is the reason we made it to the super

What y’all think on Rembert.. return, transfer, of enter the draft.
I know Rembert coming into the season was a first rounder. Most thought Top 10 pick. I don’t see it. Not fast enough to be a real base stealer in the pros, just above average glove, lacks pop with high bat speed, average arm. Does have very good bat speed. I would guess he’s a top 8 rounder at this point. He would be a 3 year prospect before reaching triple A with no set backs

He’s top 3 rounds. Didnt have the power this yr but can be solid 2B and hit for power. He was the best hitter on the last yrs USA’s team.
Either the early injury hurt him or the coaching of contact over strikeouts affected his power numbers.
We lose he, Guevara and Bristol.

His hitting was due to take a breather.
We needed Bub to get going again. Brandon Mccrane too

Gabe has to go. The pitching can’t be perfect every game.

You don’t fire people on Top 5 teams good lord

I have high expectations always. Always looking for greatness but you have to enjoy the good times. Butch has put us in the golden era of Auburn baseball. We better enjoy it.
It’s extremely difficult to win in tournament settings.
We needed some the upper classmen to step up. Needed Todd Clay to just be UAB Todd Clay. Have no clue what happened to him just folded after a tough start. That should have been a 16+ HR 50+ rbi guy that gave us nothing.
We should see a much more mature team next season just hope we can hold on to most of the core. Pitching is young as well

What is the NIL like for (us if you know) a, let’s say a sophomore, that would be mid round draft pick? I haven’t really thought about baseball NIL much.

The rankings and the seedings seem a little bit gimmicky or misguided to this bandwagon Auburn baseball supporter. I guess you have to do it somehow though. We seem to be a bit inflated or more in line with other teams.
To me, good luck finding a difference between teams 3 - 11 in the conference.
I say gimmicky because we seem to have gotten lot of benefit from playing our normal midweek home and home with Tech. Whipped them once and also got whipped. Really says nothing. Laid eggs vs Texas, UGA, and UA.
This makes it a little easier to take, but going 0 for 4 in two years having finally gotten the supers at home, dayum that sucks. Also really, really sucks pretty much knowing UGA or Texas will have a cake walk to the national title - but they are both good enough and deserving.
