We added JUCO, Addarin Scott 6-9

A native of Dallas, the 6-foot-9 Scott played at Navarro College (Corsicana, Texas) the past two seasons. Last year, he averaged 9.3 points per game on 53.1 percent shooting, plus 6.8 rebounds.

Glad we added some depth, but shows we missed on some folks.

Yeah we wanted Middlebrooks or Handlgoten as the backup 5 but it seems both of those guys got chances to start elsewhere. This guy is ready to buy in to a role

As long as Aden is who we think he is, we have a chance to be really good. I think PG play will make or break this team.

Aden's craftiness is insane. I knew it was good, but I just watched a full game of his the other day, and he is next level, Kyrie Irving type crafty. He is an elite offensive talent.

My only questions on him are more of can he manage games at this level, limit turnovers, and at least play passable defense. He will score and create buckets for others, that much I am sure of.

How does he compare to Cooper?

I think he is a better scorer than Cooper but not as good a playmaker. Cooper was a lot quicker and was crafty as well but Aden uses his body well to get off shots around the rim (actually has decently long arms) and has a reliable stepback from 3. Plays off a spin move a lot. Cooper's defining trait was his court vision whereas Aden's is his silky smooth jumper.

I think they’re pretty different. Sharife had elite vision and was as good of a passer as you will see in college. Like nyc said, he was super quick but used it more to get to the basket or create assists. Not saying Aden is a bad facilitator, just that he’s not Cooper who was as good as it gets in that department.

Yeah really the only thing they have in common is craftiness. Craftiness meaning they are very good at getting to whatever spot they want on the floor at any given moment. Aden is able to do it partially because of a good handle and skillset coupled with a shot that has to be respected all over the floor so the defense has to be up on him. Cooper was just lightning quick.

Walker Kessler playing for Team USA this summer in the FIBA World Cup. Looks like he will be backing up NBA defensive player of the year Jaren Jackson Jr. How great is that?

Travis Branham pouring salt on the wound.

If I am not mistaken, NIL was approved like two months before Scoot switched to Gleague. It was just new and unknown.

After a string of several years of NBA draft involvement, last night was kind of a bummer. No obvious NBA guys on the roster this year too although Aden, Denver, CBM, Johni all have outside shots imo

I think Broome gets taken. Probably late second round, but still taken. He can improve his stock a good bit by becoming a decent 3 pt shooter and improving his front up shooting from the mid range. This year showed just how little NBA teams value a back to the basket, undersized 5.

Rumors of Aden being hurt. Anyone seen anything? All my subs are expired right now so I can't find anything out.

It was all over Twitter last night. The Canadian U20 team was announced and as far as I know some people expected him to be on it. Then rumors started popping up that he wasn't on that team because of an injury and hasn't been practicing with Auburn either because of the injury.

All rumor right now though. I'm not sure if any of the pay sites have talked about it yet.

I’ve seen a gif of him doing a slick acrobatic layup within the last couple weeks.

It could be a sprain or something
