Unreal, Clemson was about to blow it open and alabama gets hot from three.
Their offense is depressing to watch. It reminds me a lot of our 2019 offense. NBA style ball penetration with kick outs to three point shooters.
They either get a shot at the rim or an open three.
We are galaxies away from that type of offense.

They’re the help defender usually. Against bama you have to just trust your man at the rim.

Just seems something you coach your guys not to do against a team like then. I get for a lot of teams you don’t worry about it, but for Bama, they will gladly give up a 2 for a contested 3.

No I agree. That’s the exact shot Oats designed his whole offense around. They don’t drive to actually shoot a layup. They drive to get someone to bite and kick for an open 3.

Because they have guards that can dribble and are a threat to score at the rim.
We haven’t had that since 2019.

That’s not true.
I’ve been doing it since LAST year when it became clear their program had passed us by leaving us in a trail of dust.
They had the best player in college basketball last season, won two championships, and then followed it up with a Final Four a year later.
They’re the best program in the SEC alongside Tennessee.

My goodness. They are a freaking NBA offense. One of their best three point shooters is OUT tonight and they plug in another man and don’t miss a beat.
Oats has to be the best coach in the country aside from UCONNs coach. I hate to say it.
