It would be a real blow to not at least go 2-1 with how well the team is playing currently. I fully expect the to get the teams best effort at home against Ole Miss and then obviously against Bama. And based on what I have seen from Miss State their last two games against Bama and Kentucky we should be the much better team.

Maybe. Matchup-wise I am a little worried about Ole Miss to be honest. They will be tough. Bama I kinda like how we matchup but if they shoot 38%+ from three they are always gonna be really tough to beat. MSU I like the matchup.

Neither of them are particularly well coordinated but Sharp has about as much coordination as a newborn deer.

That's fair, I think really good defensive teams and good rebounding teams are always going to be tough for us. That is what A&M did to us at home and that was a battle. Could definitely see something similar against Ole Miss or Miss State, especially on the road if we have an off night shooting. As you mentioned, Alabama will be tough for anybody if they get hot from behind the arc.

I think at the end of the day, we win at least one of these games comfortably and maybe have to scrap out a tough win in another one.

This is what I'm preparing for. I hope our depth can help, but bama and MSU are decent and the crowds will be rowdy for a ranked AU team.

3-0 and I'll be booking a Final Four hotel.

I'm with you.

I expect to drop 1 if not 2. All three will be tough

I don't want us to peak too soon. Was it Jabari's year we started hot and then sort of fizzled out? That being said I want to beat Bama at their place.

That team won in Tuscaloosa but almost gave it away late after controlling the game… they also barely won at Mizzou… KD hit a shot late to pull it out.

This team has played really well, but we aren’t tested on the road yet.

We somehow almost won in T-Town last year but got in foul hell late in regulation. Lost in OT with hilarious lineup after injuries and foul outs.

Broome, Jaylin, Flanigan all fouled out. Cardwell I think was hurt. Pretty sure our closing lineup was WG, Tre, KD, Lior, Moore in OT

Bama seems to flounder around in the first half this season, and then have a spurt the first 10 minutes of the second half and then cool back down. The first ten minutes of the second half is often our weak spot. Would be nice to go in at the half up by a dozen or so, so when (if) they have their run, we do what we do and wear them down and pull away at the end.

Yes although the AP and KenPom rankings are both on the “Teamsheet” the selection committee looks at along with our quadrant records

Well I love beating everyone by double digits, but this team needs a bit of adversity to warm up for post season.

Yes.. totally agree. I think very highly of this team but won’t be all in until I see us beat a couple really good teams or dig out of a 10 point hole in the second half on the road

Bruce has reiterated in multiple press conferences that he hopes the jungle will welcome the Flanigan’s with respect because they are Auburn men and graduates and did a lot of good for our program. Skeptical the jungle will heed his request lol

He deserves a golf clap before the game starts and hell on earth the rest of the time, then another golf clap once the game is over.
