If not for Bruce all hope would be lost as an AU fan

Not like we didn't make the college world series last year or anything....

Another blown opportunity... Right... let’s get this fixed before we count on the team to be a yearly CWS or even super regional championship contender...

A bad game means nothing in baseball. Moving forward our program should expect supers.

Agreed.... icing LSU would have been a golden op to build program credit. It baffles me how we routinely screwup golden opportunities to make a statement...

Bruce did not just catch lightning in a bottle or get lucky with a once every 20 years player.
He built a good basketball program over the span of years.
Last year was special and this year's team is built very differently but is also a good basketball team.
I know we will miss our five seniors desperately next year, but I am excited about the freshman and the guys coming in next year.
I know Auburn won't win the SEC every year or won't make deep tournament runs every year, but it looks like we will compete for Conference championships most years.
The next ten years of Auburn basketball is going to be a fun, exciting ride.

Wonder how many years Bruce has left in the tank and where we go after him. I don’t ever want to go back into the cellar

Ideally 10-15. But if we could have him for just 5 more, I think he would fully cement our status as a legitimate basketball program. Please just give us at least 5 more Bruce.
He will turn 60 this year. For reference, Coach K will turn 72 this year.. but the way Bruce coaches, hard to see him coaching into his upper 70’s whereas I definitely could see Coach K doing it. Bruce truly pours his heart and soul into it.

I think he'll mellow out a bit as he ages. He as it in the tank now be super engaged just about every second of the game. I'm confident he can adapt his style of coaching to be more of a passive in-game coach, yet still be effective.

Yeah but even beyond in-game, his effort on the recruiting trail and promoting the program and in practice is just off the charts. Hopefully he can find a way to slow it down successfully but guys like him can sometimes struggle to do that.
