LINK for Story - Go To 6:50 of 10/11/16 Podcast

ETA: *Apparently from Gus's post-game show* Supposedly Marcus Davis called Gus early last week before Moo St. And said something needed to be done about our 1-7 record in kickoffs before noon. He proposed that the whole team go to bed an hour earlier every night to adjust, and the whole team voted for and complied with it apparently. I doubt that had a lick of difference with physical sluggishness but I definitely think it gave our guys a mental edge. That's the type leadership I love hearing about, this team seems to have the attitude you want.

Yes! Link please, if available.

We judge and criticize WR drops and catches and routes and blocking, but leadership can not be overlooked or underestimated in any group, team or organization. We watch and judge performance on the field for three hours a week, but the other (24x7= a bunch of hours) that we have no idea what is going on or who is where or doing what is...what. If true, I would love to hear the backstory and MD def. deserves props. That is leadership and every sorry arse or world beater team or organization needs it. Heck, I think 95% of us would agree that our country needs better leadership. From anyone willing to step up and lead. If it is you MD, then I applaud you. Young receivers - take note!

nice made up story

Since Marcus Davis has been on the team (which would be since Gus was the coach), Auburn was 3-4 in 11 AM games before this past weekend.

While that is definitely true, it is also true that AU is 1-7 in its last 8 SEC games with early kickoffs. Of course that includes the 2012 season, when neither Gustav nor Marcus could be blamed.

Who the frick cares what the record is or whether MD was on the team during those games, the point is MD took a leadership stance and it likely helped in dominating MSU on some level.

Chex, props to you on the Kam Pettway hype machine earlier this year prior to the season. Nobody foresaw the transfers, but you called it.

got boomed because they including gene Chiziks last year when neither gus nor Davis were strolling down the sidelines in Auburn, Alabama? Where over half of the losses came from?

Oh yeah, and only sec games count too.

OK bud
