Auburn just got a PG commit of Michael Whitmore out of Atlanta I think he's gonna be a walk on. Doesn't have a 247 or espn profile. Looks like he was a teammate of Walker Kessler

Apparently Scoot hasn’t played AAU in a month and no one knows why..

What I’m getting at is that it could be good news for Auburn..

I just rewatched UNC vs. FUwho this morning, and I basically watched Kessler only. His body language, his play. That MF ran the court, inbounded the ball as a seldomly used freshman at UNC. That Mf'er wants to win and should be a great teammate. Once the team gels and him and Jabari get their timing and chemistry down, I have to say I believe we will, again be right there in the thick of everything come next February and March, Flanagan and inside outside, drive to finish knowing those two are there, or close enough. Flanagan is the key. Smart, versatile, upperclassman, coach's son. I'm not the only one to say it, but he can carry this team on his back when he needs to, grew up in the system. He's the linchpin in so many ways for Bruce to run his offense and maximize his team's talent. It's going to damn fun watching this team. I just watched Isaac get his first double double, no doubt the first of many.

I have very high hopes for Flanigan this year and agree he is the key. He showed flashes of everything we need him to be last year, we just need it consistently. Have loved watching him grow

He needs to be getting garbage minutes if we are to be really good.

He has to develop his right hand if he's going to take the next step. He's far too left hand dominant to have any level of consistency.

Cambridge has come off the bench to go for 20+ several times. He was yoyo'd around a bit too much last season, but his consistency as an athletic 3 & D guy will be key.

I don't agree. It would be nice, sure, but his main issues were simply dribbling too much and forcing bad shots. Although I suppose this could be a semantics argument on what "the next step" really means. I think if he just plays a little more to his strengths for added efficiency he is an All-SEC caliber player.

Allow Cambridge to log 15 minutes a night and limit his offensive input to shooting threes off the pass and back door alley-oops. If he’s trying to do anything other than that, we have a problem.

My reasoning is that he doesn't have the 1st step quickness to eliminate half the court and still be effective driving to the rim. It's a lot easier to hedge someone hard on their left and bring help much quicker when you know where someone is going.

Agreed, but shooting 40% from three can change that. When the defender has to close hard on you that's all you need. He looked the part of a 40% shooter the first half of the year but hit a slog in the middle of the season.

Hate to bust up the conversation but Lee says Scoot will not return to high school or to his AAU. His next stop is either college- presumably Auburn or GLeague.

So if that's his options, then wonder when he turns 18 next year?
If he turns 18 by September 15th of the year he could play G league, then he can sign with them, right?

Otherwise, it is college or nothing by what Lee heard...

Would have to think the Overtime Elite League will be an option as well.
