Weekly Justin Powell update from 247 states he is continuing to improve and is back in the weight room, able to do all his school work and doing some individual work on his own in the gym. Still not medically cleared to return to practice but it's possible he could be cleared and back before the season ends

Usually one skill isn't enough to get you drafted in the lottery, but when you are talking about a guy with the highest assist % in the NCAA since 2009 you are talking about a guy that can completely change the dynamic of a team.

Getting destroyed on the boards. Cooper is the only reason we’re not getting beat by 30.

Yep, he’s the only one that seems up for the challenge today. They’re packing the boards on both ends and saying “we have no problem getting in a 3 pt contest”

This game and the last UGA game we've looked like we're done playing for the season. It's hard to watch that.

There’s no way to know but my fear is that they thought they’d cruise the rest of the way and UGA smacked them in the mouth and just aren’t willing to fight to get back up.
I’m still confident and hopeful about next year’s squad, but there’s not enough talent in the world to overcome a bad mindset.

We’re just so bad defensively that it puts a ton of pressure to keep scoring. We hit a lull and we’re done.

We are a bad team. Don’t share the ball well and when we do we don’t shoot it well. Defense is below average. Doesn’t even seem like a Bruce team. Unless things change quickly we will fall below below .500 on the season. And not sure exactly but around 10th or 11th in the conference. I saw a lot of predictions of 4th and 5th preseason by people on the board.

I’m so sick of Thomas flopping too. I wish the leg kick and flops were actually called.

I didn’t. I saw mostly 7th or 8th. Where most of use were wrong is that we expected to see more improvement as the season went on.

I think our guys just get caught watching him. I didn’t see a lack of effort on defense. We’re just not good. People are out of position constantly.

I think they all try hard they just don’t do the little things well. Protect the basketball. Block out on 3v1 rebounds etc..
