Duke cancels all sports going forward. Duke’s AD is the chair of the NCAA Selection committee

Cutting Harper amidst all of this is BS

I thought he was doing well?
Probably was because of how well he was doing. As a 2Way contract guy, he was ineligible to be called up by other teams on 10 day contracts.
Suns have a ton of options for ball dominant guards right now with Rubio, Booker, Jerome, Leque, Okobo
Harper probably asked out tbh

So what's new with recruiting?
Is the big day still April 15th?
Guess it's post season?

I imagine we will shut down recruiting visits for a while.
McDonald’s All American game is likely to get cancelled unless we miraculously find a happy cure quickly. That may hurt with Jalen and others as Shariffe was supposed to be there helping recruit for us. Sneaker company camps will probably be shut down for a while too.

McDonald’s AA game has been axed. There were rumors that Green would announce then. Who knows at this point.

If I was him, I damn sure wouldn't be going overseas to play.

I think Memphis is still the real threat and the viruses farther making the overseas options least likely.
The overseas talk seems to mostly be from Rivals guys who don’t want to buy into the belief that Green very likely could head to Auburn.

Auburn would have gotten the shittiest draw and would have had to beat Kansas, Kentucky, and Duke to win the regional. It would have been fun to slay some giants again... frick COVID-19!

Last night on SVP he had us playing Maryland in the second round.

@EvanDaniels
The NCAA sent out a notice to athletic departments that the Recruiting Dead Period will remain in effect until at least April 15th.
The two April Basketball Evaluation Periods are April 17-19 and April 24-26.

Great fricking news. Seeya.

I am honestly very surprised at that move. They haven't been their best under him but they definitely haven't been bad. He kinda seems unlikable though, so I wonder if that paired with the relative mediocrity did him in.

Andy Kennedy wants back in.

Attendance at UAB is at an all-time low. I was pulling against Stanford making the NCAA for that reason too. Haase and Ehsan infected UAB basketball with overwhelming mediocrity.

I wonder what the answer is for a school like UAB? Do you go take a stab at Steven Pearl? Or try to find another well regarded assistant? Or look to successful D2 coaches?
