Bruce has done for basketball what Dye did for football by taking us to another level. We are set up for long term success.

This is why staying undefeated through December is so important. It raises our profile and legitimizes Bruce's statements about the strength of the program.

I am excited but I really just hope after this year we can revert back to our true identity: Deep 3s and Dunks

Watching us rain 3’s relentlessly on Tennessee, Kansas, and UNC was just an intoxicating way to watch your team beat good teams. Reminded me of late 2013 when Nick Marshall and the O had just completely mastered the read option.

Who needs foreplay when you can just watch those highlights?

The first half of the Kansas game is truly something to behold. Came out and curb stomped them.

I’m curious how far OSU drops after losing to WVU.

We are like the Jeffersons and keep moving on up

The rubber is about to hit the road for us though. The creme puff season is over. The games from here on out wont be so easy. Hopefully, they will tighten up and play well together.

Hope we can stop the slow starts. We’ve played a good schedule so far but it’s been pretty much by playing solid teams and not that many awful teams. We’ve yet to play a team that matches up well from a talent standpoint, except for maybe NC State.

Won’t surprise me at all if we drop one we shouldn’t early in conference play.

Probably not far where it matters, the NET. They were #2 & WVU #9.

On a side note we have to meet the minimum SEC record I had predicted for us of 12-6 to secure us a good spot in the NCAA Tourney. As of now we would only have 3-5 teams from the SEC in the NCAA Tourney. 4 & 5 are right square on the bubble. As a conference we are 6th in NET rankings behind all other P5 conferences & the Big East.

Has the NET updated today? I can’t tell. I ask because it was actually a really solid day for SEC hoops. 5-0 with wins over undefeated Liberty, Richmond, and Indiana

No. The NCAA updates them the next morning.

NET has been updated & looks like it's still pretty volitile for the most part.

Liberty dropped from 17 to 48 after losing to LSU
LSU went from 63 to 41
Stanford dropped from 11 to 21 after losing to Kansas
Arky went from 36 to 26 after beating Indiana
Indiana dropped from 30 to 56
Okie St jumped from 43 to 29 after pounding winnless Southeast Louisiana
VT jumped from 60 to 46 after beating winless Maryland Eastern Shore
Bama up to 63 from 75 after beating Richmond
Richmond dropped from 51 to 77

And AU up 2 spots to #5.

Richmond looks like a shell of what they were earlier in the year. They thankfully didn't play well against us either coming off a previous game. That Francis kid was controlling the ball every possession then, but was mostly invisible last night. Probably why Radford kicked their asses.

Looking ahead, the goal should be to win the SEC Regular Season Title first and foremost.

How many wins gets that done? Hard to see Kentucky going worse than 13-5 in this SEC. I think we need 14 wins at least.
