You nailed it.

He can never stay anywhere long and is hard to satisfy.

He is like the CFB ho in coaching.

Unless we locked Kiffin into a massive buyout, he'll jump shite in a few short years. What's his longest tenure at any job 4 years?

We all get it now man you want Freeze>Kiffin and that's fine. I want either.

I would hope we don't take Kiffin and give him a big buyout unless it's bilateral.

Now I get it. I do not care one iota about Freeze's infidelity or the cheating for that matter as he would now have NIL to direct and get players.
Agreed. The guy can coach, that's undeniable. Give him the keys to a program like Auburn and he'll retire Saban's old arse and give Kirby something to worry about.

As far as his infidelity, yep he screwed up, but I have no reason not to believe him. Joey Freshwater on the other hand.......would you leave him alone with your coed daughter?

That's what I was referring to. Imagine being in Texas A&M's shoes right now. Lot of risk with getting Kiffin. Not so much with Freeze. He'd probably take a 4 year deal, for a lot less money. Put the difference in the NIL fund and turn him loose on the recruiting trail.

I wouldn't dislike the Freeze hire.

Neither of them honestly...

I don't disagree... Definitely don't want a Jimbo style contract. His buyout is a joke. I'd be fine with a $100mm number that's highly incentive driven with a buyout based on performance but I know that's a pipe dream with the way coaching contracts work currently.

Freeze was paying for his paying for his side stuff. Kiffin was a 40 y/o trolling the college bars for coeds. I don't know who was dumber, the guy using his company phone to call up the escorts, or the famous guy trying calling his self "joey freshwater", thinking the students on campus wouldn't recognize him.

Lane knew ditsy girls that don’t watch football would recognize the name, not the face. He liked the challenge.

It would be safe to say that neither one of them have always been saints.

I sure don’t trust either of them so I wonder how many players trust Hugh or Lane.

It is hard to fool young men. When they know something isn’t right and they don’t trust you, it is impossible to have the team chemistry needed to compete at the absolute highest level.
