30 isn’t bad at all if you have a decent tent and sleeping bag. Get naked tho. I know it sounds crazy but naked in a good sleeping bag is the way to go

I lived in Yellowstone for 4 months and worst we camped in was -9. Gotta keep a few empty 32oz Gatorade bottles next to you so you don’t have to leave the tent or sleeping bag

People were out there selling hand warmers to students. fricking leeches.

What is wrong with this? People took the time and effort to secure warmers for others who chose to be out in the cold. There is nothing wrong with being compensated for that effort.

Maybe they should give out free generators instead?

Places we camp out here can get down in the 30s overnight at 10K+ feet in the middle of summer. The only difference is that when you wake up in the sunshine you can literally lay on a towel and feel like it’s 65 degrees out.

Humid and cold sucks arse. I’ve never been more uncomfortable than late October on the Appalachian trail. Don’t let the northerners shame you guys. 30 in Alabama is arse

Yep. 30’s in like Colorado is pleasant enough. Obviously still cold but manageable. 30’s in Alabama with the humidity just seeps through anything you wear. It sucks.

Nah. Dye is a legend but Bruce is about as good as it gets at any level. Nationally speaking.

Sure but football >>> basketball at Auburn and always will be. Pat Dye completely changed the culture and flipped, or at the very least, evened the playing field against the most successful college football program of all time within like 2-3 years. Turned Auburn into the preeminent program in the SEC for a decade and a national brand.

If Bruce ends up winning a couple of tournaments maybe it can be revisited but right now it's Dye and it's not all that close. Don't be a prisoner of the moment.

If that's the kind of person you are then you do you. I'd rather support those kids that are going to make the Jungle a living hell for Kentucky tomorrow with boxes of free hand warmers for their effort.

With all due respect, not in it. 1 title in football, basketball, or even probably baseball is worth infinity in swimming.

Students were just allowed to lineup at the door so we now have a ton of students who are forgoing the tents (for now) to stand by the door. This is absolutely insane

Same kind of people who buy up a bunch of generators before a hurricane/winter storm, then gouge people who are freezing with no way to cook food in their own homes.
