Damn good throw.
Ball is thrown short and inside.
Against an opponent who teaches their CB’s to turn around and look for the ball (unlike us) that is probably a pick.

No db is making a play on that ball. PT wasn't making those throws

Against an opponent who teaches their CBs to turn around and look, Cam would have had an extra step on him and Arnold would have easily thrown it over him

That being said, looks like dbs still gonna be faceguarding their asses off this year. But maybe not, it's just one rep.

For people that post on the internet all day about football some can’t grasp the technique of in phase and out phase in 1 on 1 coverage by a defensive back. In phase you may… again may, have the opportunity to turn your head to play the ball.
Out of phase you are in chase coverage and trying to rip the ball or go up through the arms to knock the ball away.
In zone coverage you try to make yourself as deep as possible without giving easy catches. Interior DBs like safety can watch the QB some and break on balls to try to intercept. Same with dropping linebackers.
But again when the DB is in 1v1 coverage and is in chase or out of phase with the WR you can not turn your head to play the ball. No coach teaches that and never will. If you are in phase and especially in phase with arm or body contact in the route then absolutely you can turn for the ball.

How many college teams have elite DBs capable of making that play? 2-3? Criticize us all you want, we definitely earned it, but Auburn has had an AMAZING run at getting DBs drafted no matter what people in this fanbase seem to think about their ability to locate a football. Carlton, Jemel Dean, Noah, Roger, Pritchett, and several others were criticized for similar technique, but still mostly went high and STARTED in the NFL. Cam Coleman is elite and I think every DB we've had outside of Carlton Davis would struggle to cover him. He's going to make 99% of the corners in this league look undraftedble barring injury.

Ah, a week into spring practice and we are hyperfixating on a single clip. Feels good to be back man, feels good.

Are the sleeves making a comeback?

Hard to tell. I thought they were last year based off of practice pics/vids, but then when gameday arrived most weren't wearing them.
One can only hope.

To me personally, Freeze is on the clock to deliver a successful season. Football vs Basketball is not a good comparison but I don't think the AU fanbase will suffer any more fools when it comes to the football field especially after the success in basketball this season. Freeze has had virtually unlimited resources and two back to back stud classes, transfers and returning talent to make a run. If he can't maximize what he has, then we need to find someone who can.

If we get this Kayin Lee this season, look out.

Deuce to Sam Turner. Apparently Turner has been very solid so far.

Are you implying Jackson Arnold also loves the gangbangs?
