Thoughts?

By the way I'm back from the "ban" wagon. I guess I got banned for my "One Armed Bama Fan Shoots Son in the Face" thread on the rant.

It's 7.5 for normal people who don't want to click the link.

And the 7.5 includes postseason. Looks like a good bet to me. We will go 8-5 or better.

That is a pretty good line, considering they want even money on both sides.

If we had a QB, I think you could easily add 1.5 games. And if our WR show up, I would add 1 more.

I really believe in our D this year. Not sunshine, I think the talent and coaching are there.

I generally agree with the sentiment. I'd say no sports book would go higher than 9.5 wins even if we had Nick Marshall + WR as a line though. I just don't see a sports book line being a 4-2 record against a likely 6 top 25 teams, two top 5.

Like I said, their line is right considering.

I was just trying to think of any way it could be higher.

I agree because they are figuring in the bowl game also.

Who do we get half a win again?

That is the bookie magic. Counting the juice, the half point is a strong tool used to sway money to one side, or the other.

It has little to do with the team itself, outside of the # that is given 1/2 point, or has a 1/2 point taken.

It eliminates a push where everyone gets a refund. That is why they do a half win/point

I'm saying under. 7 wins including post season BBVA bowl again. I would love to lose a little money to say that I was wrong, but as has been said a 1000 times, this team goes the way of the QB and I haven't seen anything to make me feel any better than the way we ended up last year.

I am fairly certain that is what I said.

But, by all means, keep trying. Eventually, you will catch me being wrong about something. I am not omnipotent.
