Nix got engaged this offseason. Remember when Stidham got engaged before the 2018 season and regressed from 2017? The need to impress the poon is a strong motivator.

TJ Finley and Dee Davis - along with a coach unafraid to bench a struggling QB - make this a nonissue, I think

I think losing Kerryon, brendon smith, and several other veteran oline man had much more to do with that then the engagement.

I still laugh at thinking “man, I can’t wait until we get JJ in at QB after Marshall. We will have the body of Cam and the arm of a cannon.” I have never been more wrong in my life. Marshall was our last duel threat magician. Fair well the brother.

Bo could do a lot of damage if he’d actually tuck the ball and take off when everything is covered. His best games have been when he runs the ball more.

Don’t compare these guys to Nick Marshal. Marshal was a boss. Neither were/are close. Malik was closes and we lost him

Finley’s 3 and outs were buzz kills but it was still exciting that he was getting quality reps during mop up duty.
