Too be fair I don’t think harsin has really won any of us over. He came in looking good against our first of season cupcakes. Then we lost to pennst. USCe was a disaster, and then losing the back half of the season really soured things.

We looked pretty good until the MSU collapse.
We were in the game the entire time with PSU and that was in DeathValley which is a hard place to play.
We shite the bed against Georgia State but that’s not the first time an AU team has come out sloppy and not caring against a cupcake opponent.
We destroyed Arkansas in Fayetteville and Ole Miss at home.
Lost to TAMU on the road was painful offensively but our defense kept us in that game until they just wore out.
Mississippi State is where the wheels came off. You have Bo Nix injured as well as Carlson and Finley having to be QB1 the rest of the season. We completely shite the bed at USCe but again, QB play was beyond terrible.
Then the IB game where we were one damn RB going down in bounds away from winning that game.
With a healthy Bo Nix we may have pulled out the W against MSU, probably beat USCe, and I am pretty sure Nix would have lit Bama up.

Its not so much the record for me because I am good as long as the product on the field is competitive….which there were a lot of bright spots this year and improvements over the last year…..but the mass exodus of players out of the program and no new players being brought in to replace them.

I was pumped the day we hired him. Still very glad he is our guy. Quite frankly, his behavior and approach to everything inspires even more confidence for me. The question is whether or not Auburn will have faith and see this project through.
There have certainly been some bumps in the road, but in my professional life, I am exposed to some very poorly run organizations that are in constant rebuild mode because they don't do ever do rebuild right. Some organizations have good bones and just need a spark or a change of direction. Some organizations have to be torn down to the studs. As much as people don't want to admit it, our bones were not that good. I very much respect that Harsin has stayed the course, stayed disciplined in his approach and absolutely not changed who he is even though butt hurt beat writers and message board weirdos complain all day.

Harsin is a badass. Whether or not that will translate to prolonged success at AU is still to be determined, but I’m still riding.
Some of these guys needs to go root for Bama.

Have we ever finished behind Mizzou, USCe,or Kentucky in recruiting? Much less all in the same year?
