He was key critical on those little swing passes tonight. Made some huge 3rd down conversions. Love that dude. Auburn man through and through. Big ups to the little man. Hail Worm!

He gets shite on but I’ve always loved him.

Like 5 foot tall and always the most physical guy on the field

Easily the most underrated player we have. Dude's a beast.

He knows the game better than most coaches and he is going to be a great coach.

That's not a knock on him in any way.

Tank and Hunter get all the attention, but Shivers is extremely underrated. Few are going to catch him from behind, and I don't know if there is tougher guy on this team. He is extremely clutch!

I’ve always been a Shivers fan, the kid can never be accused of not running or playing with all he has. What a competitor.

Yeah he was running like a bad man and his touches have been so valuable on the outside edge. I don’t know if we win if he doesn’t get those touches

I’m not sure we would have won either without those plays.

Runs with a ton of steam. I think the extra 10 or 15lbs he put on have helped him miss arm tackles — something he’s more likely to encounter given his speed

And it’s nice to see the coaches have a coherent plan for him.

Somewhere out there in the ether, Brannigan is reading this thread and muttering obscenities between gritted teeth

I was thinking the same thing.

Agree. and I am finally glad a coaching staff knows his strengths and uses them.

His speed and toughness on the outside swing passes were critical, and on 1 play, backed up to our EZ, and I think it was on 3rd down, Bo shoots him a swing pass, and it looks like he was going to be tackled behind the 1st down marker but he made a quick cut, got by the defender and got us a crucial 1st down. That was huge.

Worm doesn't get the credit he deserves. He was the spark that got things going. Very happy for him.

We do not win that game without those clutch 3rd down swing passes to him. Love that dude!

Honestly, that’s how I know this coaching staff has their shite together. The same could be said for Schenker, Zion Puckett and a few others. Harsin’s ability to put talent-to-task is light years past Malzahn.
