Should we just put all of our NIL money into basketball and forget football?

It’s going to be a lot easier to pay 11 really good players a lot of money than 85. I wonder what kind of NIL deals Kessler and Smith have. I hope they are getting well rewarded for coming to Auburn

Why not both, plus baseball?

Both teams have been getting paid for years, don’t worry.

Why stop at money?
I’ll donate organs to keep basketball going like this.
Have my fricking liver, Bruce.

Or what’s left of it thanks to Gus with a splash of Harsin.

Already looks like this sort of thing is happening with programs who have 1 bad sport program and one good sport program. They are funneling money from good to bad to get 2 good ones.
Bama and Arky are top 3 in basketball recruiting.
UNC and Kentucky are top 10 in FB recruiting.

I am so grateful for this basketball program Auburn football is good but not great which means middle of the pack to bottom in the SEC I don't know if Harsin is the right guy but I do know Pearl is the right guy

I believe Warren Buffet once said he doesn't pick companies he picks CEO's. Right now our money should be on Bruce.

Serious question, as I see a lot of people on Twitter demanding that we give Bruce a lifetime contract: How many people have ever gotten a lifetime contract (or a perceived equivalent,) and how successful were they after getting it? It just feels like a recipe for complacency.

It’s a more of a gesture of goodwill from one party to the other. Any contract can be modified, amended or terminated if the parties agree otherwise.

That's stupid. We should continue to listen to his desires and try to match them assuming they are reasonable. If you look at Saban's contracts over his bama tenure the school has mad 500 times that off him.
