Aubie board friends,
We’ve endured a trying year in many different aspects. As 2020 comes to a close, I want to say thank you to all who make this board a joy to discuss all things Auburn.
I hope each and every one of you spends time with friends and family tonight. Be responsible and reflect on the blessings that have been provided this year... like a new football coach!
Your pal,
Rig

“Goodbye to 2020; One of the toughest years in history, and everything that goes with that. Happy New Year! 2021 will be when we get our edge back. No doubt.”

It's probably a third of the board.

Nice to put 2020 in the review mirror.

Even the ne’er-do-wells have a place.

Just finished a ribeye roast dinner with my family, enjoying a White Russian in the couch as the thunderstorms roll in.
This has been a particularly brutal year in the House of Freep - prostate cancer, wife lost her job, moved mother-in-law in with us, dealing with hurricane damage at my house and my parents’ place, wrestling with selling the latter and settling the estate - on top of everything else that has happened in this God-forsaken year.
But you know what? We came through with flying colors. Wife’s starting a new gig in January, kids are doing fantastic, and I’m 100% cancer-free and rocking and rolling. And yeah, this humble forum provided a real boost to my spirits when things looked bleak.
Happy fricking New Year, my Barner friends, and War Damn Eagle.

Happy New Year, fellas. I tend to do more lurking than posting so my name might not be too familiar to anyone. Regardless, y’all keep me laughing on here, which was especially needed this year.
Here’s to 2021!

Happy New Year y’all
Not gonna lie, in a year that pretty well sucked from start to finish, having an Auburn football coaching search was probably one of the biggest highlights
God I love rumor-mongering and flight tracking etc etc.
Here’s to a another decent NYD bowl W against Northwestern in Florida ringing in another undefeated Fall on the Plains

With picture perfect, 2020 hindsight vision,
We've all been Nostradamus.
Today we start, our fruition,
For Auburn's rise among us.
We fishermen, car historian,
airplane watching, bible scholars.
Beer drinking, goalpost taking down, Auburn men,
who'll bicker and rant forever.
Here's to more, but better,
many thanks still to come.
But we all made it through another,
God bless our 2021
PS: (wish it rhymed more...)
and Thank You all, even to those I've argued

Happy New Year! As bad as 2020 was, we are still blessed. A toast to full stadiums and tailgating this fall.
