Friend’s results are a mixed bag with some huge wins. More concerned about his coaching than recruiting, honestly

The impression I've gotten is that McClendon is a recruiter while Wyatt is a developer. I was also kinda hoping for one more elite recruiter type, especially since I don't think (?) we have Florida covered yet (like we would with T-Rob).

We’ve had guys like Grimes that were known for their coaching. It’s about the jimmys and joes. Plus, didn’t the Boise Oline coach get hired too?

According to autigers07 Wyatt was a big part of Fedora's offense at Southern Miss. They also said Harsin wants the staff completed by Wednesday and Wyatt could be announced tomorrow.

Bobo would fit that description. Recruiting is definitely Friend’s forte. I think Cadillac could end up being one, just too early with only one cycle but he got us Tank. TWill would also be another very good recruiter if retained.

Bobo may be bringing 5 star gunner with him. Caddy got tank. I’m sure considering Mason’s resume, he should be able to pull in some top dbs. Etc.

I think that’s kind of the plan. Let Friend bring in talent and have Bedell there to make sure they actually develop.

I’m sure there’s some overlap on instruction but I’m doubtful that this is a plan by anyone other than message board fans trying to analyze hires

Yeah wasn’t saying that Friend is going to be kicked up in the coaches offices during practices
But as much as Harsin likes to have the TE on the line that they will be spending a lot of time together.
