Kiffin or Mike McCarthy will be right along to snatch him up and make us pay.

I said a month ago that Kiffin was probably going to grab him.

Kiffin, the guy who told him to kick rocks out of HS (Ashford was committed to Ole Miss until Kiffin was hired, and had to "leave" for Oregon) is going to decide to take him now after the ELITE play he's shown in over the past two seasons?

Makes sense. LMAO.

Yeah, sure that’s what happened. Because nobody would ever drop powerhouse old piss for Oregon.

Their ability to deal in reality is non-existent.

Kiffin has had a Top 3-5 passer in the SEC every year he's been at Ole Miss. Makes perfect sense for him to now hand his offense over to a guy who's literal only "skill" after 4 seasons is running the football.

The idea that Kiffin would ever need to settle for Ashford, a guy who couldn't win the starting job at two different schools (and lost to guys like TJ Finley) is asinine. He couldn't even lock down the starting job at a rebuilding Auburn program going against Holden Geriner, why the frick would Kiffin who is winning ~10 games a year want him LOL?

An Alabama kid committed for months to an SEC school all of a sudden at the last second "decides" to flip to go play football in Oregon LOL.

You also forgot that he was the #2 QB in Oregon's 2020 class. They already had Top 100 QB Jay Butterfield committed long before Ashford ever visited. Remember, Ashford was a 3-star at this point.

So Ole Miss hires an elite QB coach/offensive wizard, and Ashford decides on his own to all of a sudden go be the second QB behind a higher rated QB at Oregon? So I guess under your scenario you are basically admitting that Ashford is retarded? (if you think he's making a decision as stupid as what you are suggesting)

Or, do you think that Kiffin - who likes to throw the ball around and has high standards for QB play - wasn't overly interested in Ashford, who was throwing at a 55% clip at Hoover HS? Auburn wasn't even pushing for Ashford, hence why he was committed to Ole Miss in the first place. He was not good at all in his Senior season of HS football - which is why he dropped massively in the rankings.

They are serious. He's a talented athlete, but I think there's something about our fanbase that latches on to what we didn't pick. I've seen us go on and on about athletes we didn't sign ,or guys that left our program to find decent success. Sometimes I feel like we miss out on the guys who stayed and contributed. Thorne or whoever, can change this next season just like Jason Campbell did.

Yes. Did you see what Corral looked like in 2019, and then what he looked like in 20-21?

No, there's something with people that don't see Mike McCarthy listed in relation to our transferring QB, and instantly go 'joke.'

Hate Harsin, yes. Very few people hate Gus, it was just time for him to go.
