Riddick has no love for bama.
I think he has a burning hatred for the updikes for talking shite to his grandmother when he committed to Auburn.

This is also true. They haven’t stopped all year either. I’ve got some family in that area and they’ve heard about all the shite that is thrown their way, especially on social media.

Believe... Fans worry too much about this.

I love the confidence and I believe our team has that now.

All the pansies in here crying about Riddick talking shite. You know which Auburn team loved to talk shite like no other? That team with Caddy, Campbell, Rosegreen, Carlos Rogers, etc. The upperclassmen might be scared on this team, but the freshmen and sophomores are straight up killers and don’t give af. I love it! That’s the mentality I want on this roster.

Don’t think anyone is upset with the mentality. Those guys you mentioned also didn’t do stuff like this. They talked shite on the field, not to the press.

You also don’t stop your opponent when they are defeating themselves. Hell, talk shite on Friday. Give them as much of this week to eat themselves alive after the OU game as possible.

Agreed. This team seems mentally fricked when things get tough. There's obviously not any upperclassmen willing to set the tone. So if it has to be a young guy, Riddick seems like as good as anyone to set the tone. Dude is a baller.

They most certainly talked shite to the press.

That just puts more doubt in their minds. They see nobody is going to be afraid of them.

If you can find a time they called out an opposing team player for not being good, before we played them, I’ll happily retract that statement. I can’t recall a time they ever did that.

Maybe. Or just gives them something singular to focus on and block out everything else.

Zeke Pike never proved he was a badass on the field (in a game or in practice).

This dude has.

Tre Mason gave them Iron Bowl material before the 2013 game and Kevin Scarbinsky scolded him in an article for poking the bear. And the rest is history.

And Kenny Irons called his shot for two bills before getting off the bus and ringing up 200 yds rushing on LSU … in BR.

But both Tre and Kenny had good offensive lines, both were Seniors, and both were on teams with winning records.

We are 5-6 and have nothing to play for except the Bammerham bowl. If we do lose, what are they gonna say, they beat a 5-6 team and proud of it? I would rather go in balls to the walls confident and cocky rather than timid and “hoping we will win”. If they lay an egg, they will learn from it to not run their mouth.
