It was an ugly W. I will take an ugly W over a pretty L every day.

The O seems to stall with Pettiford lately. He is getting some Holloway in him. Dribble happy and not getting the other guys involved at times.

But to say it's frustrating to watch Pearl teams is silly.

Or maybe just miserable.

I think yall are making a mountain out of a molehill here. That dude clearly cares about Auburn basketball. Auburn basketball isn't frustrating. Episodes like the second half of last night is frustrating.

If someone says here comes the dreaded 3rd and long is coming. Yall aren't saying "find a new hobby, buddy! "

Basketball to him is clearly football to us.

Nobody is saying our team is perfect and honestly his overall points and concerns have some validity. His problem is he way oversells it, thinks every game should be an easy 15-20 point win, posts the same long paragraphless complaints like ten times after every game, acts like we are a borderline top 15 team, overlooks everyone else's flaws, and does so in a holier than thou i played basketball tone.

Randy basically summed it up well. Outside of his preseason positive commentary on the team, the dude has basically been a repetitive, even more negative Nancy version of Scoper with some basketball knowledge who needs grammar/paragraph structure help.

We were up 21 with 12 to go. That very easily could've been a 15 point win lol. We will see how the season goes. Bruce obviously does well in the regular season I am guessing he is worried big picture. I dont know why yall are attacking him for second half collapse criticism when the best player on our team cracked yesterday.

I am not getting the holier than thou vibes that you are though.

God Damn It Randy.

It's basketball. We see it all the time. We saw the game going off the rails as soon as Petitford got chasedown blocked with 11 minutes to go. At that point we have to have leaders step up and they finally did.

So what do you want? Are we going to complain and freak out everytime we don't win by 20 on the road? Would you rather have been in a tight game wire to wire? This guy was creaming himself over Tenn the other day for beating Arkansas big at home and they nearly got doubled up last night on the road. Kentucky was easily handled from the tip by a team prob similar to Texas.

All that said i do wish we still had tre

No reason to freak out. I am little worried about our 4 position and getting antsy about our 1 position, but I still have high tournament expectations as well.

somebody isn't paying attention.

Pettiford played almost half the minutes of Broome. Pettiford took half as many shots as Broome...............Broome.

CBM played 11 more minutes than Pettiford. CBM took 1 more shot.

I counted 5 possessions where Pettiford was the only player to touch the ball on the O end of the floor.

That's because tahaad is an alpha dog who wants the ball, and he's been our second best player in big games all season. Yes it's not always going to come off and Bruce will hopefully coach a little of it out of him when needed. Aden was a raging puss who shrank under the pressure moreso than any player I've ever seen. Don't ever compare tahaad to that beeotch Aden

The way the O stalls..............which is exactly what I said.

You can see that the last two games. The announcer in the Mizzou game even said the exact same thing.

so how many games do we lose with him trying to take the game over? Were those early season W's worth conf. and March W's?

We literally lost one game this season and 7-1 in Q1 games… Broome has been lights out for the most part but otherwise different people have stepped up to make a difference. Kelly’s 3s were huge yesterday. And in the heated environment in the second half, last season CBM would surely have done something boneheaded but he kept calm and cool and drained his opportunities. I would rather have these learning/coaching opportunities now than in March.
