Can we talk about replay for a bit?

I’m not saying anything about yesterday’s game. I’m just talking in general. I feel like replay gets more wrong the official calls on the field. It slows the game down to much and seems to lean way towards teams that are higher rated. And it gets worse and worse as the season goes on.

I wonder if there is repercussions for the replay booth.

Only solution I can come up with is coaches challenges.

I like the way the other conferences are handling it: transparently.

Wonder why the SEC won't...

Agreed. The way the other conferences do it should be the easiest start. No reason to not be able to see and hear what they are saying.

Man Corch ar first I thought you subjected yourself to watching a replay of that abortion yesterday. I was like damn who would do that.

But yeah it should be transparent

Hell naw I ain’t watching that shite.
This isn’t an Auburn football team they are just out there in an Auburn uniform.

Maybe that’s the way of the future but 60ish new players… Not my AuburnTigers

Nobody should have to endure the punishment of watching yesterday’s game ever again

Coaches challenges is the way for sure. Get rid of replay from birmingham until the final 2 minutes of regulation or something

It needs AI. Let it analyze the plays because the Sec refs as sucked for too long. It can't be worse.

I’d just as soon rather watch the footage of my last Colonoscopy.

They were BOTH sh!tty performances, but at least with my Colonoscopy I got to enjoy a groovy buzz & a nice refreshing nap

Last season, the entire crew working the Auburn/Georgia was suspended for the season. 11 complaints, 9 verified by the SEC. White Hat had announced his retirement at the beginning of the year. Didn’t harm him much…..however…..

Not one person in the stadium replay or Birmingham replay position was penalized. Why?

Homer…..if the field made that many mistakes, didn’t the two offices make mistakes? I’ve been on the field when mistakes were made and challenges to the White Hat were ignored. Had White Hats apologize in Association meetings when he realized how big his mistake was. Three days after the game.

The protected homers should be identified and suspended or removed as well. Birmingham should have been closed ages ago.

A replay existed showing the ball break the plane before the fumble in the end zone. Ignored by Birmingham.
Kirby Smart should have been flagged for the ignored time out/clapping routine….At a minimum he was on the field and distracted the officiating crew.

We all know why the SEC refuses to join the rest of college football in having the review team on microphone.

Of course, I saw FSU get screwed by replay against Miami though. The replay guys even said dual possession, and they still upheld the call on the field.
