thread is tl;dr. its a sports forum guys, not a big deal. I wasn't a huge fan of letting others in and still don't see the point now but I'm sure our resident admin will keep things in check.

Some boards gave access to all team admins a while ago, but it became universal yesterday.
The idea has been around since the boards were made. The board admins hypothetically act as "ambassadors" between the boards.

This is the goal - fostering goodwill. Other than coming to say hello, y'all likely won't see us often, only if we have something to contribute or a question.
