Predict Alabama’s excuses

Take your bets folks. How will Alabama fans rationalize getting beat by an ostensibly less talented and worse coached team?
1. The historically superior approach: Alabama is Auburn’s Super Bowl, and Alabama overlooked the team en route to the playoff. They care more about beating Alabama than winning championships, so even when Alabama loses, our priorities and problems are inherently superior. Watch Auburn lose the SEC/playoff we would have clearly won.
2. We beat ourselves. A fan favorite! Alabama hasn’t actually lost a game since 2008, they have only beat themselves. If you completely ignore Auburn’s missed opportunities and everything goes right for Alabama, we totally would have won.
3. Auburn luck. What can you do about losing a game in Jordan-Hare? An overrated Auburn team skates by on a fluke play(s) once again. If Alabama had half the luck Auburn did, we would have won three more championships during Saban’s tenure. Bama is unfairly unlucky, and Auburn will always be overrated because of it.

I fully expect the screen and music to make an appearance on the particularly delusional melts.
The persecution complex regarding the refs is pretty universal, so I’m sure they’ll display that symptom as well.

I've seen a ton of Bama fans saying we beat a garbage overrated Georgia team. If we beat Bama does that make them the same? Asking for a friend

It makes them a garbage team but not an overrated garbage team.

You do have to give Alabama credit when it's due, they have been the best team in the SEC for the past few years, but that run ends tomorrow.

Their biggest win came against MSU who lost to ole miss yesterday, so they have no room to talk. I know Fitz got hurt, but they were losing and had not scored yet and the 1st Q was almost over. Hate it for Fitz though.
