I don’t think Bo held the 2019 team back nearly as much as the OL.

I tend to agree that Gabriel doesn’t fit at AU in this offense
I think he could.

Although small, he’s a pocket passer and he can make a lot of the throws.

TJ has experience lol. I’m not against an experienced QB but it has to be the right QB or I would rather go with our own young guys. Like I said eventually you have to have your guys make their first start.

Yeah, but I’m trying to get away from the mystery surprises in the box. Finley was already a known commodity. He sucked last year too.

Players improve as they gain experience and reps with coaches. This is not an approval of Finley at all, its just that Finley and his execution we saw in 2021 might be much improved. Or maybe OC Davis loves QB Davis.

Having said all that, I think Harsin is going to start Gernier, the true freshman. He's done that twice.

Users on Reddit and Discord are saying OU's QB Caleb Williams is in play to transfer to Auburn. Supposedly, there is a connection between him and our new OC.

If that happened, we would probably get serious looks from all sorts of top talent.

Hell, just the rumor might generate interest.

Well if he's into crypto, and is a Dallas dentist who never talks about college football... who is Williams' roommate going to be at AU?

Weren't we just goobing out over Dillion McGillicutty from UCF?

Would Williams even fit into Harsin's system?

Would be a huge get but would be surprised he leaves OU

Yes why would he leave OU? Is our OC really that connected to him? I find that hard to believe.

CW would be a game changer. Would love to get him. Oline would follow. But equally intrigued about NIL part. Since when has AU ever stepped up in the $$ game?

Bro, are we really being picky here?

We have dogshit TJ Finley at QB, and we are asking if this guy will fit into the offense?

WTF.

Stidman that post in here I get the vibe he runs the NIL site. Anyway, it is basically a shell company to funnel money to recruits

I did get that vibe as well. He didn’t really answer our important questions though.

Williams apparently is very close to Russell Wilson from attending his camps and such, so that is the connection to Davis.

Makes sense on the relationship, but why is he not the de facto starter at OU? A place and QB room he knows, with the guy he beat out that has transferred. He could just start there and have a lot more certainty.

I've seen Caleb Williams only in a quarter of the UT/Red River Shootout.

Can I sacrifice a chicken to Jobu to make this happen?
