I realize we don’t really have anything to play for and Hugh is getting next year, but losing to ULM would be hugely damaging to him. On the other hand, knocking off one of Alabama or A&M would be the best win of his entire tenure and give him some momentum heading into the offseason.

I’m not advocating for starting Thorne, but the wins and losses do still matter and Hugh is gonna play the guy he thinks gives him the best chance to win. We aren’t getting some rotating audition for guys that Hugh doesn’t believe in.

I've made this point before. Be careful, you'll be rustling some jimmies here. Boobirds and downvotes abound.

Probably why they haven’t made the decision yet. Don’t think Hugh is taking that for granted.

Not really sure why you are being a dick to me, I don’t pick the QB and Hugh obviously believes Thorne gives him the best chance to win.

Have we looked at Georgia’s DB 3-deep and see if anyone is worthy of starting for us at QB next season?

We were a qb from having g a great season. The defense has kept us in games auburn just can't score enough points to win imo.

No, no it’s not. A Cam Ward this season, and we’re talking about playoffs right now.

Cam Ward
Does he get to call plays, timeouts, and have back pocket full of different olinemen?

Got me on that one

The Oline looks a lot worse when you are constantly getting blitzed because nobody is scared of your QB

So you honestly think we're just one player away from turning this season around?

Yup. See 2010 and 2013 for reference. And see current Miami. That is a shite team without Ward.

Dude our receivers have still been bad and lazy. Plus the offensive line is total shite. And lets not act like the defense has been lock down all year

We are a long ways away

Plus our head coach is a complete dumbass

Our QB is 6th best in the SEC too. Makes you wonder what the posters mean when they wish Hugh just went and got "any average QB." Literally 8 Million dollar Nico would also be a trainwreck.

Turn on Miami and watch. They are a sub .500 team without Ward.

So you are saying that the QB position, meaning the most important position on the field, is very important?

Who would have thunk that?

You and I were both trying to tell people this offseason. I called for 5 wins with PT. I may have been too optimistic.

You called for Hank, Ashford, and Jeremy Johnson, too.

Fitting alliance with Lanier
