I really believe PT has the potential to be a really good college WR and probably make a nice career in the NFL one day. Hopefully he sticks around and does it for Auburn.

I honestly think that school-hopping works to the detriment of guys that were highly rated in HS. We have all seen it: just because you're one of the best in your state in HS does not mean you're going to come to the SEC and not skip a beat. Everyone is good. The best, put their head down and work at what their coaches show them and become great. Jumping at the biggest check every year or two provides no continuity for these guys on their journey to the pros. The sooner a lot of them realize this, the sooner college football gets back to some semblance of "normal".

He seems really stiff and wasn’t real fluid, but maybe I didn’t see enough of him.

This. I was under the impression he was a speedster.

Southern Miss. kicker Connor Gibbs was in Auburn today for a visit.

This kid was a 3-4 over 50 yards this season and had a long of 59 yards. 10 for 13 overall.

Just checked: 59 yards is the 5th longest made FG this season (4 guys made the kick).

I think he could lose some weight and get down to like 205-210 I've seen countless receivers Duke Williams themselves into being slow and stiff. 222 pounds right now

I could see Perry taking a lot of the snaps Rivaldo took. It doesn't really look like there are any big time receiving TE's. We might pick up the guy from Elon (I think), but he's a blocker.

Perry is plenty fast though lol. He's just one of those guys that don't look like they are moving that fast. I forget which game it was that he caught the deep TD, but you can see his speed on that play.

Big of Freeze to keep Amaris locked in too. He's really not letting any important pieces out of the door at all.

Who was the transfer TE last year, maybe from Miami? He looked like he had the build of a receiving TE, but never heard anything about him.

I was about to say, in game 1 when he had that long touchdown, he was steadily leaving the CB. And it didn’t even look like he was trying. Also, he raced Coleman and won.

Yeah when you think of what everyone else lost, Walker has been our only piece so far.

Straight line speed and being fluid/fast twitch are two completely different things.

and he wasnt going to ever be the starter to be fair. We have recruited our own roster better than anyone in my opinion

Rico Walker from Maryland. Not sure whats up with him, but we haven't heard much, so I would guess that's a hint.
