I'm really not sure why this keeps getting repeated over and over that so and so is going to follow their OC to whatever school
Because that is what some of them are doing. Dampier announced the same day his OC was hired at Utah.
With Mateer, why do you think Jackson Arnold entered the portal? While it’s not a given, OU needs a QB and they are the going away favorite to get Mateer since his OC is going there. It makes sense for them and for him. Mateer has talked about how no one gave him a chance out of high school except WSU, and that OC made him a star. Why wouldn’t he follow him?

Hogs’ Top Offensive Lineman
The Hogs’ top-graded o-lineman is leaving There are always a few surprises this time of year, but it’d be hard to top Thursday’s news that offensive lineman Patrick Kutas plans to leave Arkansas and enter the transfer portal.

I am interested in him, the Kentucky receivers, Justus Terry, Jackson Arnold, and Deion Burks and then we can modestly call it a day.

Kutas
Didn’t see a lot of action and Arkansas fans seem to be glad he is leaving. Could just be cope I guess.

According to Pro Football Focus, he played 230 snaps and had an overall offensive grade of 71.0, which included a 73.6 pass-block grade and 69.9 run-block grade.

Arkansas head coach Sam Pittman said Oct. 28 the plan was for Kutas to redshirt this season, and Pittman said Kutas agreed to it and he was all in on a return to the program. "The deal that we talked about was he wanted to redshirt," Pittman said. "And I said, 'Hey, now, we ain't trying to redshirt you for somebody else.' He said, 'No, coach, I would never. I'm a Hog, I want to be here.'"

My coach says this to me and there’s no way I’m staying.
You’re going to waste a year of my eligibility for the hell of it? It’s not like Arkansas has a limited number of redshirts they can give out.

The player asked Pitman for a redshirt.

Because he got benched for a freshman some this year?

But he took back the starting job. Arnold is a good QB. Their OL and WRs were terrible.
I’d take Weigman or Arnold right now. No questions asked

Because Mateer is coming with his OC to OU.

Dude is made of glass and is a pocket passer. It’s gonna be a no for me, dawg.

Your record for QB picks makes me want to go all in for Weigman then lol

TE Luke Hasz is in the portal. He looked really good for Arkansas this past year, and we need a TE.

You think you are gonna find a portal QB with better numbers than Thorne?
Thorne wasn’t the issue dummy.
OL/DL is the issue

Hasz was a good TE for Arky. We need a receiving TE

Arnold
I'd take Arnold over everyone else right now. His OC was arse, he was down his top 5 WRs, got benched for a month but still completed 63% of his passes, had 1500yds 12 TDs and only 3 picks. And ran for another like 450.
He has great arm and leg talent. And he's only a Sophomore.

Explain Weigman. He has had a few good games, but its 3 partial seasons of overall forgettable play. Arnold at least I can pretend on because we know that Oklahoma was a mess around him, but Texas A&M was actually good this year and Weigman still flopped.
