Good lord some of you have no concept of anything except for the extremes.
Some of us are just tired of the "IF ONLY WE HAD A DUAL THREAT" line that's been on repeat for a decade.

I didn't say he had help, I'm showing the numbers... CHF recognized that and retained him because he felt he'd be better with better players.
Statistically, He was... But the record wasn't.

Probably because we haven’t had too much success since the last true dual threat we had a decade ago.

Also, Freeze has offered nothing but high school dual threat QBs here lately, so it looks like he prefers them.

Jackson Arnold.
2024 stats:
1400 yards 12td 3ints passing 62.5%
444 yards 3 TD rushing
1 reception TD
Did he get injured or did he benched for Hawkins?

He got pummeled last year by hits and this year was operating behind 5 new OL and had many fumbles. So he has good experience operating behind a subpar OL

All that was said was that Jville didn’t want a pocket passer

That’s a reasonable position to have. Having a QB that can escaped some sacks and extend plays longer would help.

Latest reports are questioning if Ewers goes pro, Kipper is projecting him as the sixth taken and could end up in the 3rd round. Thats a million to 1.5. He could make a lot more with a successful year in school
Too much pressure to get Manning on the field. If Ewers stays in college he will hit the portal.
Im certain we are talking to someone who is talking to someone on a lot of these targets.
But in that scenario, and its just that. You could wait on him and watch others sign while they are still in the playoffs and then miss on him.
If by some wild chance we landed him, that would sure inspire some optimism to say the least.
And fck dual threat, thats why you have running backs.

Did anyone post that Auburn is hosting Fresno state LB Phoenix Jackson?
Posted on 12/4/24 at 5:52 pm to TheJones
I don’t think we had time for that. Too busy debating the importance of a mobile QB
Posted on 12/4/24 at 5:54 pm to GoCrazyAuburn
Oh, right. And they need to be tall too, don’t forget. And handsome

Bonus points if they can throw a football clear over them there mountains.

Extremely underwhelming

He’s 6’ tall though
I did see this from Twitter:

Jackson had 49 tackles, 4 sacks and 2 INTs this year
3rd-highest PFF coverage grade nationally among LBs

Then you go 5-7 and have a pissed off fanbase. Can anybody credible tell me how feasible it is to switch MO's on your offense mid season? Like what quality of product would you expect if you had to implement an entire new run game philosophy out of the RPO? I assume it's alot more involved than repping 5-6 new plays.

Hunter Zambrano. Give him money and get him signed.

Sign him just for his name. It nicely rolls over the tongue like Rollo Tomassi.
