Going into portal season were wanting to celebrate getting a proven plug and play guy but there just weren't any out there. Maybe maalik but there's question marks there.
So while you won't find people celebrating like we got the next Cam Ward I think it's fair to pump fist like we just got a top 10 overall qb 5 star who's a little accelerated in his learning curve and can start next year. He's got more question marks than the craft section at Hobby Lobby no doubt but his ceiling is number 1 pick in the 2026 draft.

Fair enough. Guess we'll see this spring when he gets the bulk of the carries. Do you think they'll still go after the other RB after the Connecticut kid committed? Are we done at RB?

I don't think they let Durrell commit until Hardy says no if they weren't planning on taking both of them. Or maybe they just like Durrell more but idk. I couldn't find any film on him.

How many carries did he have in after that game? I don’t know his stats but I would guess he averages a fumble about every 12 carries over his career

A fumble every 12 carries is insane. You know he's not that bad. He had north of 30 carries after the arkansas game and has 3 fumbles in a lil less than 130 carries since the start of 2023. I couldn't find his fumbles from his freshman year but he would've needed roughly 8 to hit your 1 in 12 number lol.

This is why people call you out for acting like an expert when you pull BS out of your butt like this.
Alston only has 4 fumbles (lost 3 of them) in his career, and 130 total carries. So a fumble about every 33 carries.
Alston probably isn't a starting quality SEC back on a good team, but he's been solid for us overall.
