Well I'm not saying he would have done more but Freeze under used the top RB in the sec. We could have done alot more just running a 2 back set with him and Hunter and Thorne occasionally.

But I'm sure he still believes he's has a leg up on the others coming in.

Damari can block his arse off, and he looked pretty damn good in the Iron Bowl in 2023.

ESPN has him at 6’1 200lbs. I just mean if we can have close to a thunder and lightning combo that’d be great. In no way suggesting Alvin isn’t a good back.

I tried to tell y’all we were playing the long game with the roster management last year in the portal. We aren’t there yet, but it was gonna take 3-4 top 10 recruiting classes to make major portal moves pay off.

I mean… it’s kinda funny that everyone says we underused jarquez when he led the league in rushing.

Dylan Sampson led in yards but he had 75 more carries or something along those lines

I think Hunter was second in the league for carries/game. Every other RB was 11-15 carries per game. Just a different game right now

Exactly. And we saw what happened when we tried to run more. We got stuffed because they just loaded the box. It just wasn’t possible against anyone not named Kentucky

You have to play to your strengths and Freeze didn't do that at times the first two years. He wants to pass the ball to the detriment of the team from what I saw. People are pissed because Hunter should have gotten 5-10 more carries per game and had another 350 on the ground easily. That second half of the Vandy game where he barley touched the ball huants me. He has to call plays according to our strengths, not his personal wants.

Unfortunately not when needed in the red zone.

One of the most frustrating things about the season. He used PT like a volume shooter... that shoots at a 30% clip.

He's a running back, not a fullblock

He doesnt break tackles, he isnt shifty, he doesnt have break away speed, he doesnt have hands out of the back field. When he is in the game, there is always a drop off in production from Hunter. He fumbles. Cant name a single great run that he has made where I was like, dayum look at him go.

I like the kid, he has a great heart. His production just hasnt been there

He's shifty and quick af. Feels like you just pick players to hate on for no reason.

And a back that can pick up a blitz is immensely valuable. And he didn't put the ball on the ground again after the Arkansas game.

You can lead the sec and still be under used. With as many issues on offense, especially in the redzone, we should have been handing it off. He was our best weapon and should have got it every chance he could. The commentators even brought it up repeatedly how little he was used at times.

There was definitely room for at least 5 more carries in the second half. Even in games we were trailing. Even if Hugh is gonna be a pass first guy. Regardless of the narrative and where Cowboy's numbers were at the end of the season, his usage was a frick up.

We didn't always get great push but some is on audibles and some were just bad play calling to start with. As much as we need a QB (hopefully we have now) and OL, we need a true OC with full control of play calling.

Regarding safety, if we cant get one better than we picked up last year......save the money and roll with Fegans and Winters as true freshmen. They cant make any more mistakes than last year and the upside is through the roof.
