I have no dog in this fight. Whether Chaplin is good or not, I have no idea.

But I would trust PFF over the Auburn website. The team websites always gives the most positive spin to their players because it makes sense to do that. They cherry pick the best things they can say about the player because you can’t just be dogging your own guys on the website.

It’s like when we list heights and weights and then guys go to the pro combines and shrink.

Yeah, those are some ridiculously bad run blocking grades.

Sadly, not even the worst. A couple of our guys had sub 14's for the A&M game.

No need. Because my source lives on.

That was just proof there is a gulf in subjectivity in anyone's metrics they pay for versus another.

AuburnTigers.Com wins again...unless you're a bammer. Or something

highly doubt Chaplin had a real 22 run grade against Mercer.

Wtf Jang, did you just try and quote a source to support your argument, and then deny that same sources accuracy a couple posts later?

That's some Chex level weathervane spinning around stuff.

You are not accusing our site of spin. More like outright lying saying there is no way he graded in the 90s five times.

Not AuburnTigers.com. Not my source.

That quote was just a second organization illustrating against mcknbaj's stats proving his stats mean little unless you pay for them and hold your cash burn dear to your heaet

I never once said that specific metric was spin. I said it was flawed.

Btw. The whole team PFF report cards for all games (didn’t find Iron Bowl) are on War Rapports site for free. I didn’t pay anything.

You implied those 90 grades with this

They'd never

Since we are using advanced analytics. Let me see yall spin the advanced analytics for all the lower games of incoming upgrades.

Nope. That was in response to a general statement that team websites do positively spin things. If you disagree with that statement, then that's on you.

I specifically said the metric in question is flawed.

He actually had a solid Iron Bowl for him, using the PFSN stats. 80.9 overall impact, 83.2 pass grade, 27.7 run grade. 2nd highest performance of his for the season.

Nah. Still on you because frick you and your title for one, and number two if they're even remotely inaccurate about him being graded that high for that many games then they are outright lying.

I don't really think FSU with Gus and Herb Hand was the best choice for him. He did fairly well with pass block grades. But what do I know? Maybe Herb Hand gets him playing well.
