List them then.
looking only at the American conference schedules over the first 4 weeks of 2025, they notched 6 wins over P4 teams, including Tulane’s 37-24 victory over eventual ACC Champion Duke

that matches the total number of FCS wins over P4 programs over the last 5 full seasons

Best thing I see here is we have a coach that won’t call the dogs off.

We need both Brown and the WR Singleton. Deuce needs to understand that a guy (Brown) is simply a better college QB than he is right now with 3 years experience under Golesh. If Golesh doesn't put a full court press on Brown, then IMO, Golesh is making a mistake.

I would love to keep DM, but I want production at the position. We dont need to over pay for an unknown QB. No other SEC job will just give him a starting position. He can go to Tulane and play.

Oh yeah. I want Deuce to stay and learn under Brown who has 3 years under Golesh. Deuce could learn so much under Brown. We will find out if Deuce is afraid of competition if Brown comes in.

I could see any of the 3 qb’s being good next year at Auburn. Golesh is going to have to earn his rep as a qb evaluator by picking the right one. Odds are the other 2 aren’t going to be interested in a qb competition.

I was initially in the don't bring Brown in camp but after some pondering I'm tired of sucking so whoever can help us not suck next year is who should be our qb. I'll worry about 2027 some other time

We probably have 50ishM invested in the past 3 classes. They produced 5 wins this season. It is time we see some ROI or find new players. If Brown can produce; bring him.

Im rooting for Deuce but Ill be expecting the worse of he doesnt bring his proven QB to Auburn. If Deuce don't like it then he can beat him out of the position. If not then Bye. Auburn winning is way more important than some players feelings, I dont care how good we think they will be

Edit: does=doesnt

Running off deuce has mistake all over it to me. We haven’t developed a high school QB since Campbell/cox. At some point we do it or live with the idea you won’t be developed as a qb if you come to Auburn.

We have an excess of young QBs coming up that want to be at AU. Rivers and the Auburn HS QB are examples. We need to win now. 5-6 wins a year is not acceptable and Deuce couldn't beat out Arnold and/or Ashton.

Who is running Deuce off? No one is. Golesh has already developed Brown into a 3K yard passer and 1K yard rusher. How much development are you asking for Mike g?

Golesh has already developed Brown. What evidence are we looking for in terms of QB development? This is assuming Brown wants to leave.

You are just moving the goalposts. Your initial claim was that G5 football football was closer to FCS than it was to P4. Nobody is arguing that G5 football is equal to P4 football.

You have done nothing to prove how or why FCS football is allegedly "close" to G5 football. Not only do FCS teams barely ever beat P4 teams period (which is not the case for G5 schools - they beat P4 teams multiple times every season), but I literally showed you that virtually every G5 team in the AAC has curb-stomped the FCS competition they have played.

The head-to-head matchup of G5 teams vs. FCS teams is as lopsided as what you normally see when a good P4 team plays a G5 team. This nullifies your claim that FCS football is "close" to G5 football. If it was close, then the results would reflect that. And this isn't just looking at the "good" G5 teams. Georgia State finished 1-11 this season. Guess what their 1 win was? A convincing 37-21 win against FCS Murray State. That was the only FCS team on their schedule, and it was the only win they had period.

Want another example? Ball State finished 4-8 in the MAC and they played one game vs. an FCS opponent (New Hampshire), which they won 34-29. New Hampshire was an 8-5 team in the FCS. So a "bad" G5 team still beat a "good" FCS team in this case.

By the way; Ryan Silverfield's Memphis team beat FSU last season, and they beat Iowa State in 2023. Which means that they actually beat a P4 team in 3 straight seasons. You think this happens at the FCS level LOL? In 2021 they also beat a 7-6 MSU under Mike Leach.

You are going to try to argue that the G5 schools only beat "bad" P4 teams, but those "bad" teams still have multiple times more talent. Florida has a 5-star QB, an elite RB, elite WR talent, etc. and even though they only finished with 4 wins, one of those came against Texas. USF obviously doesn't have any 5-stars on their roster, and barely any 4-stars either.

Jville this is a losing argument. Not because there is no merit but because nobody cares.

Now let's get to brash tacks why dont you support getting competition for Deuce. Literally the only thing you were right about with Jackson Arnold is that Kai Salter needed to be brought in to provide competition.

This is why Golesh wants Brown now. He has to prove his offense works year 1 and isnt relying on Deuce who isnt proven yet.

G5 starters are a lot closer to P4 than FCS. Depth is where P4 pulls away from G5 teams.

I agree. And to that note that is why I dont view HC's leaving Tulane the same as a HC leaving SEC to SEC.

G5 is just a stepping stone- a mere rung on the ladder below the SEC.
