To be fair he was probably told to look around. We likely weren’t going to pay him what he thought he was worth for going 0-3 as a starter.

According to him he wanted to stay but the new staff basically ignored him. Not saying it’s true. There’s two sides to every story but that’s his.

That's a feel-good story if nothing else.
He helped Auburn a ton while we were in a pinch so I am glad we can help him.

Daniels was never a guy after a check. He literally didnt care if he started. He was 20 times better than Ashford.
