We have Ellis, Jacobe Ward, Tai Buster all in second year

We will have bodies for sure, they might get mauled but they will be on the field.

Best is legit. Him, Simmons, and Ramil were a few of the best from portal IMO, even if all of them are sorta at their ceiling. For a year, they’re good.
Depth is a concern, and Best didn’t seem like the most necessarily addition with Ellis on the roster if we’re splitting hairs

I'm not criticizing any one player. I just look at that group on paper and I'm just not very confident. Maybe they will be great though. Lets hope.

Neither line of scrimmage screams “talent advantage”. Feels like we are missing a dominant OG, and a couple of dominant defensive linemen. Those are dudes you have to spend big on. Our refusal to even target those types of transfers makes me wonder what Auburn’s NIL really looks like.

Depends. we lost roughly 33 players to the portal, if they want to get back even, then about 10 or 11 more.

Ellis can definitely play guard and I’m not going to be overly upset with Brown already being comfortable with his Center. Would love another guy for sure though.

More than a handful of those 33 were walk-on / non-contributors
