I think the QB situation will be handled differently than last year. The staff will have their guy before his name ever hits the portal. Similar to how Thorne was handled.

It was a Brock Huard tweet where that originated. He said 10 schools, including Auburn, had offered $1MM.
I think that is his NIL people trying to drive up the price and start a bidding war. Could be true, but I just find it hard to believe those types of numbers from so many schools.

So rumor is AU is in a bidding war for Ward. The offers are up to $1 million right now.

Yea. We aren’t going to pay 1 million for Cam Ward when we could pay 250k for Seth Hennigan and use that other 750k for WR/LB/DTs.
