Crazy since he has played five years now, three with UCF and two with OK. Looks like one year he had a medical redshirt in 2021. Would be a one year, but he had a damn good year this season.

I know it's Vandy so nobody probably cares, but they're getting absolutely hammered in the portal. They've lost 5 starters over the weekend and this morning.

I mean, unless Vandy starts dumping large amounts of money into the program, there is no HC that will win there.

We have no shortage of QBs to choose from.
Surely our collective can beat State's and get Gabriel instead.

Yeah agreed, looks like a portal ripe for a QB that could win some games instead of some of the ones we lost.
Especially with some of the receivers committing, 2024 has potential to be a nice season.

Gabriel isn’t even going to look at State….he’s going to have teams like USC, Oregon, OSU, FSU, etc after him.
I also think he’s getting about $2M at Oklahoma in NIL and just don’t see State being able to come close to that.

Agreed, but if he's taking a long view wouldn't it make more sense to follow his OC and run a system with which he's very familiar? In other words, with consistency in the offensive playbook he might better position himself in the draft.
That said, MSU is awful and probably won't win a bunch of games next year regardless of who's pulling the trigger at QB.
