I wouldn’t say Gus. Maybe Grimes’ nonrecruiting old arse may with his Oline.

Wouldn’t be the Auburn board if we didn’t trash Gus for no reason at least once a day

Bo Nix has the same odds to win the Heisman as Felipe Franks from what I heard on the radio this morning.

honestly, if Gus tries the two Qb system, he will frick up Bo.

Yea, I can't imagine Joey will stick around if Bo has much success. However, trying to figure out a plan to make him want to stick around seems like a Gus move.

In today's day an age of media coverage and social media, I hope Bo isn't that thin skinned.

He will break next year when our O line leaves. Gonna be almost impossible for any QB to play with with the O line we will have in 2020 - won’t be Bo or Gus’s fault except as it pertains to Gus not recruiting the O line well for the last few years. Next year is when it catches up to him.

Exactly. That is why I laugh at the media saying that Auburn would keep Gus as long as he wins 8 games this year.

Not a chance.

Because if he can only win 8 with this senior laden OL and DL, he can only win 5-6 the following year.

I said the same thing above. If Gus isn't gone after this season, Grimes needs to go.

I’m leaning toward it being in Auburn’s best interest to keep Gus if he can work with Bo and have a 9 win season.

Fact of the matter is if no Gus, probably no CRG, Twill, Caddy, Steele, and Woodson either. Little too comfortable with high Auburn culture and high discipline to be replacing Gus with a coach that may or may not have more success.

Which is why Gus is coming back regardless

A collapse like that next your would be better to fall on him than some new coach

No way Gus will be fired if he wins 9 games.

I said that a few weeks back but apparently with the JUCO guys coming in and players like Brahm another poster said it wasn’t as bad as we anticipated.

It might not be as bad as we anticipate.

That’s because, while we return a whole OL of seniors, they still aren’t world beaters. So, theoretically, it shouldn’t be that tough to get close to their production level.

Osborne is getting some good reviews by coaches, aswell.
