Lot of people taking shots at Pettway were screaming his name when h was running over defenses I bet. I don't know why they cut him, but I do actually think he has the talent to make a roster.. I wish him luck.

Dude was fun to watch play when he was healthy. Kind of reminiscence of Stanley McClover, one good season and bolt to the NFL one year too early.

Can see him being economically forced (as in coerced while in bed) or being forced out told to go; however entering th'draft while injured seems a mighty stupid thing to have of done. Of course some of these kids get nothing but praise for years and it's not like he was ever this negatively pressed before.
Just wondering (out loud) if covered up choices (those made when you're growing up in the public eye) got the best of him when there was no one doing it any longer?

We love to create drama and “I heard” about players when things aren’t going well. If we had just won the SEC and made the playoffs we would all be wishing him good luck and not shitting on him.

I don't have any idea why he left, and he had a monstrous 2016 season for sure. But his game doesn't translate to the current NFL at all, and I mean at all. As said he was basically a FB in a power run game. The NFL is bigger and stronger than the SEC, I just don't see his game working well there at all.
Unless he can find a team that needs a FB basically.
