grapevine says that Ole Sis was recruiting him to come and play for them...so we will see how they use him...who knows may have been promised both ways...

We are just to dumb of a fan base to let some agency handle our NIL stuff.

Even tho these hanger ons around the program and wanna bes have interest in young adult athletes most normal people don't.

I don't need a phone call or video chat from a player. i don't need an autograph. I've never asked for an autograph it just ain't my thing an is creepy.

So NIL Auburn will get loaded, the players will make some money and they will be happy, but who believe these blowhards have the ability to really throw money around to win recruiting battles in the future.

To add on top of that personally I don't want to know if we can buy a championship.

I bet he ends up playing offense again, which if that's what he was after then I'm not really upset about it. Dude could end up making bank on the DL, but might end up preferring to be a gadget instead.

IMO he didn't show the nastiness to be DL. He might be better served as a TE. Freakishly agile for his size. Wish him well.

Dude flashed at times on getting immediate penetration at the snap. Was he completely technically sound no. But had a huge upside on the DL.

Yes he’s freakishly agile for 300 lbs but not agile enough to separate from coverage by a 6’4” 230 linebacker

Big loss as far as one of the higher ceiling guys

I think Pegues and Tennison will be starters for Ole Miss next year. Mason never really liked Tennison for whatever reason (maybe picking up a more cerebral scheme?) but Pegues is a bit of a head-scratcher.

Agreed, he has freakish athleticism for his size and had some really impressive plays on defense. He had first round potential if he’d stuck with it. He’s not getting to the NFL as a TE.

Well, I'm assuming you didn't enjoy 2010, because we definitely bought that one

This is just the basic stuff to keep current players happy…etc

The major and individual NIL deals should be handed differently (hopefully).

You're right. I'm not a bit at all that upset about him leaving because I believe he felt as if he had a future on the offensive side of the ball. He could be a great defensive lineman but idk if he was bought into it. If Ole Miss can convince him that his future is on the defensive line and can turn him into a stud then more power to them.
